In 2012, Yassine met Philipp Stölzl, director of the movie « The Expatriate », who gave him his first film role. Since then, shootings made him travel : To Canada for « Diego Star », Belgium with « La Part Sauvage », France with « The Conquerors », Holland for « The Kidnapping of Freddy Heineken », UK with the TV Series « The Missing » and « The State », Morrocco for « Homeland », Italy for « Ustica: The Missing Paper » and also « Isola » Cannes Selection french feature movie as first experience as lead role.
Recently, he finished working with NETFLIX on a belgian TV-Series « Into The Night » and « Trentenaires »
He also the main role on the berber short movie « Sin Igharassen » where he spoke in his grandfather native language.
He is also present in an award-winning Italian film « The Well » where he switches to a radically different role. This horror film has had a real success in Italy and internationally
